Comment For Aloha Peliculas Cristianas Gratis

Name : Colin Covert / Alias : Minneapolis Star Tribune
How delightful to see a film that begins and closes in outer space be so warmly stargazing.

Name : Wesley Morris / Alias : Grantland
None of this "works." But it usually worked on me.

Name : Christy Lemire / Alias : RogerEbert.com
"Aloha" feels like several films at once, crammed together and sped up, with results that are emotionally hollow and narratively confusing.

Name : Stephen Whitty / Alias : Newark Star-Ledger
At least this feels like a Cameron Crowe movie.

Name : Ty Burr / Alias : Boston Globe
"Aloha" is as generic as its title. The islands exist solely as an exotic backdrop for the pretty Hollywood haoles to play in. Business as usual, and I never thought I'd say that about a Cameron Crowe movie.

Name : Bill Goodykoontz / Alias : Arizona Republic
It's a big soap opera set against blastoffs, none of which is convincing.

Name : Mark Olsen / Alias : Los Angeles Times
Even with its off-balance, overstuffed storytelling, the film maintains a charm and energy that never flags, with brisk pacing and generally engaging performances from its deep-bench cast.

Name : Joe Neumaier / Alias : New York Daily News
"Aloha" isn't horrible, but it does have a pitiable odor about it, like a dog that's sat too long on the beach.

Name : Tom Long / Alias : Detroit News
Where to begin with Aloha? Begin by not going to the movie.

Name : Andrew Barker / Alias : Variety
Unbalanced, unwieldy, and at times nearly unintelligible, Aloha is unquestionably Cameron Crowe's worst film.

Name : Peter Travers / Alias : Rolling Stone
Filmmaker Cameron Crowe can't catch a break with Aloha, a Hawaii-set romcom that is a handful of stories struggling for a unifying tone, but is nowhere near as toxic as its advance buzz.

Name : Mick LaSalle / Alias : San Francisco Chronicle
Crowe introduces a serious topic without really examining it, and even the romance feels off, with a pair of lovers who seem mismatched. To complete the picture, Crowe tags on an ending that's convenient but not convincing.

Name : Ann Hornaday / Alias : Washington Post
Aloha is such an inchoate mess, such a forced, insular, self-pleasing misfire, that plotting it out can be a challenge.

Name : Steven Rea / Alias : Philadelphia Inquirer
For all the screwball patter, smart-aleck similes, and zingy one-liners that Crowe has handed his mismatched cast, a kerplunking emptiness runs through Aloha.

Name : A.A. Dowd / Alias : AV Club
Perhaps the energy Crowe could have expended on shaping believable characters went instead to the cultural context.

Name : Joe Morgenstern / Alias : Wall Street Journal
I've never seen a movie quite like Aloha. That's meant neither as praise nor as a backhanded compliment; it's offered more in the spirit of one hand clapping.

Name : Michael Phillips / Alias : Chicago Tribune
The first encounter among Cooper, McAdams and Stone is so awkward and unsettled that it becomes the movie's own albatross. There are some moments, most of them thanks to McAdams.

Name : Peter Howell / Alias : Toronto Star
A delayed and dismal attempt to marry screwball comedy with socially aware drama.

Name : Rene Rodriguez / Alias : Miami Herald
This is the kind of film that is easier to mock than to grapple with on its own terms. It's littered with flaws, but sometimes those movies can be the most interesting ones. The Aloha cult fan club is officially open. I'll take one ticket, please.

Name : A.O. Scott / Alias : New York Times
The plot is a hash when it's not a drag, and the 100-odd-minute cut of the film arriving in theaters on Friday seems hacked from something longer and baggier.

Name : Gwynedd Stuart / Alias : Chicago Reader
Even if this were well made in a technical sense, it would still be a weird heap of patriotism, astronomy, and Hawaiian folklore, piled atop a pat and predictable love story.

Name : Sara Stewart / Alias : New York Post
There are grand, romantic speeches that will endure forever from Crowe's earlier work - "Jerry Maguire," "Say Anything . . ." - but you can't build an entire movie on them. Nobody wants two hours of "You had me at hello."

Name : Rafer Guzman / Alias : Newsday
"Aloha" is one of those films whose characters behave and speak so irrationally that they no longer make any human sense at all. Crowe may have had us at hello, but he's losing us with "Aloha."

Name : Chris Vognar / Alias : Dallas Morning News
Aloha, for all its spasms of charm, feels like a push-button romance, its heroes glibly spouting lines with the hope that the words come to mean something.

Name : Lisa Kennedy / Alias : Denver Post
This is a romantic comedy that has more than hearts on its mind. In addition to teasing the uneasy and complicated partnership of the military and the private sector, Crowe takes on issues integral to Hawaii.

Name : Joe Williams / Alias : St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Blessed with a stellar cast and idyllic locale, Crowe seems reluctant to waste anything, including his own half-baked themes.

Name : Preston Jones / Alias : Fort Worth Star-Telegram/DFW.com
Now, Cameron Crowe's name above the title feels less like an invitation, and more like a warning.

Name : Sheri Linden / Alias : Hollywood Reporter
If Aloha's earthbound elements are uneven, its rocket-launch aspects are downright confounding.

Name : Bilge Ebiri / Alias : New York Magazine/Vulture
It comes at us in choppy bursts of brilliance and dopiness. That is at once its great charm and its great curse.

Name : James Berardinelli / Alias : ReelViews
It's hard to find a level on which Aloha works. It's a murky, muddled mess.

Name : Peter Rainer / Alias : Christian Science Monitor
Crowe is deft at keeping the various plots spinning, but there are too many of them, and they don't intersect pleasingly.

Name : Alan Scherstuhl / Alias : Village Voice
Cameron Crowe writes movies like he's calling us in eighth grade with his heart on fire.

Name : Richard Roeper / Alias : Chicago Sun-Times
Aloha is a great-looking movie with just enough bright spots to get us past the cloudy moments.

Name : Alonso Duralde / Alias : TheWrap
The deepest understanding we get of any of these characters is that none of them would say the things that Crowe makes come out of their mouths.

Name : Andrew Lapin / Alias : NPR
Crowe displays a willingness to reach for ambitious ideas and big-hearted, emotionally naked moments that other name-brand filmmakers are too terrified to explore. Aloha is a big mess, but it's also at war with American cynicism, and wars get messy.

Name : Chris Nashawaty / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
It happens. Really talented directors sometimes step into the batter's box, take a gigantic swing, and whiff.

Name : Moira MacDonald / Alias : Seattle Times
The result is a movie that's well-meaning but nearly unwatchable. Stay home and watch a better Crowe movie instead, and ponder what went wrong.

Name : Nathan Rabin / Alias : Globe and Mail
Aloha is a marshmallow of a film: soft on the inside, soft on the outside and wholly devoid of substance.

Name : Lindsey Bahr / Alias : Associated Press
Another fascinating mess from an earnest and occasionally excellent filmmaker who can't seem to recreate the enveloping magic and charm of his earlier films.

Forty years ago, artist Alex Carver (Morgan Freeman) bought a run-down apartment in a sketchy part of Brooklyn with his wife, schoolteacher Ruth (Diane Keaton). Today, their neighborhood is now very hip and their apartment worth a small fortune. The now- retired Ruth and Alex haven't changed - they are still as much in love as ever. But they have let Ruth's niece Lily (Cynthia Nixon), a real estate agent, list their property to see what the market might bear. On the eve of their open house, the Brooklyn Bridge is rumored to be under a terrorist attack, sending the media into a frenzy and people's attitudes about living in New York. Closer to home, Dorothy, the Carver's beloved dog, is suddenly having trouble walking. While Dorothy is having expensive treatment at the vet, Ruth convinces Alex to go apartment hunting in Manhattan, where they miraculously come across an ideal place they might actually be able to afford. As the world around them seems to mirror their own chaos and confusion, Ruth and Alex realize the same bond of love that has kept them together all these years will allow them to see their way through this crazy weekend as well.(C) Focus

Comment For 5 Flights Up Full Movie In Hindi Hd 1080p Download

Name : John Hartl / Alias : Seattle Times
The movie ends just as you expected it to end, and there are almost no surprises along the way.

Name : Gary Goldstein / Alias : Los Angeles Times
What a pleasure to see a simple, finely tuned dramedy about real adults with real emotions in a real-life situation.

Name : John Anderson / Alias : Newsday
A couple of pros, playing attractive characters in an amiable yet topical story.

Name : Richard Roeper / Alias : Chicago Sun-Times
Sometimes you see a play and you can imagine it being a movie. Sometimes you see a small movie like this, and you can imagine it working better as an intimate stage play.

Name : Stephen Holden / Alias : New York Times
The lead performances are so perfectly in sync that Alex and Ruth really feel like an old married couple who know each other's foibles and cherish every tic.

Name : Rex Reed / Alias : New York Observer
It's good to see first-rate artists devoted to a film that doesn't pander to an unsophisticated audience with a thirst for violence and smut.

Name : Mike D'Angelo / Alias : AV Club
If 5 Flights Up is worth seeing, it's primarily for the pleasure of Keaton and Freeman's company, plus maybe for some tips on buying and selling an apartment.

Name : Pete Vonder Haar / Alias : Village Voice
What starts as a somewhat charming - if prosaic - story of love in the time of gentrification inexplicably spends most of its third act mired in the finer points of apartment hunting, like a tastefully lit HGTV show.

Name : Graham Fuller / Alias : New York Daily News
Diane Keaton and Morgan Freeman are pleasantly entertaining in "5 Flights Up." But the movie's far too pleasant for far too long.

Name : Stephanie Merry / Alias : Washington Post
"5 Flights Up" is far from perfect, but it's also undeniably touching.

Name : Gerry O / Alias : Kid First
From the story line, it may seem that this film will be boring to kids. But, when I started watching this film I fell in love with it. Morgan Freeman's perfect timing of jokes and Diane Keeton's wonderful and priceless emotions make this film entertaining and heartfelt from the very start to the last second. It is a bit hard to say what the main genre is. Of course, there is a lot of romance between the two characters, Alex (Morgan Freeman) and Ruth (Diane Keeton), there is also that funny side that makes it all that more enjoyable. And, there is still a serious dramatic side which keeps you on the edge of your seat till the end. The story starts when an elderly couple, Ruth and Alex, live in a high up, massive apartment in New York City, Brooklyn actually. However, the five flight of stairs they need to take is getting more and more challenging so they decide to move to a location with an elevator. To add to the challenges, their dog is in the hospital undergoing treatment for spinal injury. The director, Richard Loncraine makes this movie feel authentic and rustic and also shows how current society stereotypes elderly people, how they truly feel about it and how wrong it is. The cast is wonderful and the acting is just superior with serious and comedy scenes mixed together and standing out all the time. I also like how they lightly touch upon problems of the past as well as problems of today. For example, Ruth and Alex got married in a time when bi- racial couples were not welcomed with open arms. Then it shows how today a gay couple is making an offer on a house. They submit it along with a note telling how they tried to adopt a child and finally were able to adopt one. It is something Ruth and Alex wanted to do when they were younger but were denied. My favorite scene is when they have an open house to sell their apartment and a huge crowd of people comes through, looking at everything and touching everything. Alex doesn't like it but Ruth tries to see the positive side but fails. I like that scene because it shows how the couple's life isn't perfect and also makes the film feel very real. Not only this moment does that but many others as well. This film has perhaps several moments of adult content but none that is too mature. I recommend it to kids ages 10 to18 and give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Name : Tirdad Derakhshani / Alias : Philadelphia Inquirer
5 Flights Up is a sweet film with a few nicely turned lines, some good jokes, and some very lovely dialogue. But it's not much more than fluff and air.

Name : Christy Lemire / Alias : RogerEbert.com
What begins as a sweetly sentimental story ends up being cloyingly melodramatic.

Name : Peter Keough / Alias : Boston Globe
The duo provide a bit of wit and warmth amid the contrived subplots and the self-satisfied moralism.

Name : Isabella Biedenharn / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
Based on Jill Ciment's wry novel Heroic Measures, the film is at its best when it sticks with the everyday .

Name : Lou Lumenick / Alias : New York Post
Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton have unexpectedly great chemistry in this warm and funny comedy about a couple who contemplate leaving a walk-up apartment in Brooklyn they've occupied for their entire 40-year marriage.
